The Van Buren Intermediate School District proudly hosted the annual Educational Hero Awards banquet at the VBISD Conference Center, bringing together school leaders, educators, and community members from across the county to recognize individuals who make a lasting impact in education.
The event was sponsored by the Van Buren County Association of School Boards in partnership with VBISD and celebrated educators from districts throughout Van Buren County whose dedication and commitment continue to shape the lives of students.
The evening served as a powerful reminder that an educator’s influence extends far beyond the classroom. Like waves in the ocean, the dedication of one educator can create ripples that reach far beyond what can be seen, shaping students’ futures, strengthening schools, and positively impacting entire communities.
Each honoree represents those waves of influence, commitment, and care that move education forward every day. With districts from across the county represented, the celebration highlighted the extraordinary work taking place in classrooms and schools throughout Van Buren County.
