Van Buren Intermediate School District (VBISD) is proud to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of the Van Buren Middle College Class of 2025. As one of the ISD's premier programs, Van Buren Middle College, housed at Van Buren Tech, continues to exemplify innovation and excellence in education.

This dynamic, tuition-free program empowers students to earn college credit and, in many cases, a full associate’s degree while still enrolled in high school. Through a unique blend of dual enrollment, career and technical education, and individualized mentoring, students receive the support they need to thrive academically, professionally, and personally.

VBISD is thrilled to share the remarkable achievements of this year’s graduating class:

  • 46 graduates

  • 2,890+ college credits earned

  • Over $433,000 saved in college tuition

  • 38 students earned a full Associate’s Degree

  • Average college GPA: 3.64

“These students have shown exceptional dedication, resilience, and drive,” said Larissa Hunt, Middle College Coordinator. “Their accomplishments reflect not only their hard work but also the power of intentional support, high expectations, and strong community partnerships.”

VBISD extends heartfelt appreciation to the entire team of Middle College Mentors for their unwavering commitment to student success. Their leadership has played a critical role in guiding students through a transformative educational journey that positions them for future success in college, careers, and beyond.
