Transitions
The Career Readiness Transitions section is designed for students interested in continuing their training and/or education after high school. Students learn about the Career Transitions Center, supported employment opportunities, and how to connect with local agencies. While in Transitions, students continue to develop self-advocacy and interpersonal skills through role playing activities and practice within the community. Daily living skills practice, including cooking, money management, and general household maintenance, as well as identifying local transportation options, supported living arrangements, and social activities, are also incorporated into the program.
