Zorica Malek was awarded the 2022 MASSW School Social Worker of the Year for Region 4. Zorica is a VBISD School Social Worker at Mattawan Consolidated School and some of her accomplishments include the implementation of multiple Peer to Peer Programs, Zones of Regulation, TRAILS curriculum, and Restorative Practices. Zorica has written grants to local businesses, she provides professional learning, is skilled in trauma evaluations and is the MASSW President for Region B. It’s wonderful to have Zorica as a part of our Special Education Family!
