Learn and apply marketing skills that allow you to be successful in today's highly competitive business world. Units include: management and communication skills, product demonstrations, visual merchandising, job interviewing, product planning and packaging and marketing research and advertising. This course will also teach you how to research a business idea, write a business plan, and start your own business. Participation and competition in the national Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) student organization is encouraged for all students. Good verbal and written communication skills, time management, and the ability to work with others are qualities that will help a student succeed in this program.
