The following is a list of tools and skills that an Automotive BES student will use and learn:

Tools: 

• Computerized 4 wheel alignment
• Computerized wheel balance machine
• Brake rotor and drum resurfacing machines
• Tire and rim vibrator control machines
• Engine valve and head reconditioning equipment
• Micrometer and equipment for very specific engine and chassis measurement
• About ground hoists

Skills:

• Understanding of brakes and braking systems including anti-lock brakes
• Automotive suspension services and repair
• computer wheel balance and tire service
• Engine repair
• Computer four wheel alignment
