The following is a list of tools and skills that a Automotive Electrical and Tune Up student will learn to utilize:

Tools: 

• Scope for diagnosing ignition systems
• Emissions and fuel gas analyzer
• Hand held scanners for diagnosing drivability problems
• Drivability dynometer for simulated road testing in the shop.

 Skills:

• Diagnose and repair lighting

• Diagnose starting and charging systems

• Diagnose and repair electrical systems, ignition system, fuel injection, carburetor and emission systems
