Technician - Electrical & Engine Performance
The Electrical and Engine Performance (EEP)
program prepares students with the skills necessary to work in auto
mechanical repair occupations. Students learn skills in diagnosing and
repairing auto electrical systems, ignition systems, fuel injection
and carburetors, emissions systems and engine computer systems.
Students who pass the state certification exams can quality for the
AUTOYES (Auto Youth Educational Systems) program. AUTOYES provides
students with the opportunity to get on-the-job training experience
during the summer of their junior year. Mentors are experienced
technicians at dealerships.
