career group has changed more in the last ten years than this one, and the
changes can be attributed to computers. Computer technology is now
the driving force behind design, development, and even production.
Since computers hate dust and dirt, the manufacturing site is no longer a
grungy place. More commonly, today's engineering facilities are well
lit and air-conditioned.
Computer technology has also affected the products we produce.
