The purpose of your portfolio is to help you get a
job. Think of your portfolio as an interviewing tool, a way to
communicate what you have to offer an employer with evidence to back
up your statements. Focus your portfolio on the skills,
experiences and interests you have that are related to your vocation.
Your portfolio is an expanded resume that provides more detailed
information and evidence.
Each of your portfolio pages will have the following
elements:

As you document your training, remember to include
equipment, tools, procedures, projects or products. It is
advisable to include a short statement from your instructor or letter
of recommendation by a professional in your vocation who can attest to
