The VBTC opened in 1976 and has the capacity to serve over 1,300 students in 28 programs.  Enrollment has averaged over 900 students during the past three years.  Students attend the Center from 14 districts in and around Van Buren County:

• Bangor
• Bloomingdale
• Covert
• Decatur
• Gobles
• Hartford
• Lawrence
• Lawton
• Mattawan
• Paw Paw
• South Haven

In addition, students may enroll on a tuition basis from districts outside of Van Buren County, and students currently attend from three such districts:

• Dowagiac
• Marcellus
• Watervliet
