Purpose: Improve students English language development and mastery of the WIDA and common core standards. Learn and apply the 8 SIOP components. Refresh and reflect upon second language acquisition methods. Acquire strategies and hands-on activities for each SIOP components that can be used in the classroom. Who should attend? Mainstream teachers looking for ways to improve instruction for EL students. Administrators who are striving to improve their EL program delivery methods.
