This model of behavior intervention is designed to aid school personnel in conducting basic functional behavior assessments (FBAs) for students that exhibit consistent problem behaviors which have not been adequately addressed through previous assessment and intervention. With a focus on students who engage in high frequency, non-dangerous behavior, the goal of this training is to increase the number of individuals within the school setting who can utilize effective, efficient positive behavioral support plans (PBSPs).
Topics include: defining and understanding behavior and the critical features of PBSPs.
