Our mission:  "Empower students to progress toward their life goals."

Since 1976, the Van Buren Technology Center, an educational service of the Van Buren Intermediate School District, has provided Career and Technical Education (CTE) to high school and adult learners in Van Buren County and the surrounding communities.  With 28 available CTE training courses, more than 1,000 high school junior and senior students from 14 sending schools enroll each year.

 2013 Seniors

Students attending the Van Buren Technology Center receive individualized career, academic, and technical instruction.  Our programs of study are designed to reflect "real world" applications, and meet not only industry expectations, but are also in alignment with the Michigan Merit Curriculum and meet the CTE requirements set by the Michigan Department of Education.

The Van Buren Technology Center has a world of opportunities available for area students:  college credit through area community colleges, classes through the Technology Center's Distance Learning Lab, career education through  program/career related field trips, job shadows, co-op experiences, or district/state/national competitions through various student organizations.
