8th Grade students explore careers at the
Van Buren Technology Center!
Check out the hands-on activities in each program!
Eighth grade students visit the Van Buren Technology Center to explore careers. Following a brief introduction, students explore programs, checking out the different activities available in each program. Some of the activities include: drawing blood from a fake arm, doing engineering drawing with CAD software, trying on fire fighter gear, being part of a nailing contest, or being fingerprinted/handcuffed... they can do it all!
