Work with staff and students

to build a robot!

FIRST Robotics competition challenges you and your mentors to build a robot from a "kit of parts," in six weeks!  After the robot is built and programmed, students compete with it at the district level or even go on to national competition!  FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) was founded in 1998, by Dean Kamen, to inspire young peoples' interests in science and technology.

STUDENTS...You will put your engineering skills to the test, but don't worry, teamwork is key for this competition.  Work with engineers, instructors and fellow students.  Plan it, do it and compete with  FIRST ROBOTICS!  Students from Machine Tool, Computer Aided Design (CADD), and Computer Programming, Web & Game Design can qualify to participate.
