In a serious or life-threatening emergency, no one can afford to take any chances or waste any time. The situation calls for experienced professionals who must respond immediately. If you want to be on a trained medical team that uses state-of-the-art communications, the latest life-saving pre-hospital care equipment, and staffs ambulances that are like mobile emergency rooms, then EMT is the place for you to be!

Learn immediate medical care techniques for the critically ill/injured person, including Airway Management, CPR, AED Auto Rescue/Extrication, and Emergency Childbirth. Certification in Medical First Responder or Emergency Medical Technician is available for students who successfully complete the program and pass the state exams.
 

I like this class...EMT 2010

EMT provided the opportunity to learn and exhibit my skills through graded scenarios. Also, this class has given me better leadership skills through being senior captain of the class.  Finally, this class has helped me achieve my goal of moving into a full-time position at a fire department, with the help of Mr. Robertson, an awesome teacher and friend.

EMT is different, new, and exciting every day.
There is never a dull moment. Being part of this
class has given me a sense of accomplishment. 
This experience is something that I would never
change and will stay with me forever.  If you love
helping people and being part of a team, this is the
class for you.
